SECOND INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL – THINK ABOUT

The Second International Festival of Assisted Reproduction was held, under the slogan Think About It, on 12^th and 13^th October 2019, in the Envoy Conference Hall in Belgrade, gathering some 1500 people. Unlike the first one, the second festival lasted for two days, since there were a lot of questions and ambiguities that needed to be discussed and clarified. Our aim, once again, was to get the problem of conception out of stigma and to give couples what they needed most – motivation.

In October 2019, Serbia was a place that gathered the greatest fertility experts from Serbia and Europe in the desire to help couples, clarify certain ambiguities, answer some questions and discuss certain topics about infertility treatments.

During the second Festival, we organized, one more time free consultations with experts covering all fields related to infertility and in vitro fertilization – gynecologists, embryologists, endocrinologists, urologists, hematologists, psychologists, and as many as 300 free consultations were organized!

Yes, you read it right – more than 300 free consultations for couples and individuals were organized and held during the Festival. Everyone who scheduled consultations with an expert had a special, intimate space and some time for the consultations.

There were some 50 fertility specialists and IVF clinics present. Everyone was there at the visitors’ service and everyone, during the visit of the exhibit stands, could get answers to the asked questions.

We made an effort to have again at the Festival fertility experts from different countries, specialized in different fields. All of them were ready for open dialogue and private consultations, as well as completely dedicated to finding the best solutions for everyone’s problems.

During the Festival, we screened our unique documentary on infertility, Journey to the Baby. This film presents the true stories of the couples and their struggles. It is now available on our YouTube channel.

The fertility clinics stand from Serbia and abroad, health medical stands, drug and supplements manufacturers, pharmacies, and associations stand, all of them were set up and at the visitors’ disposal in the Envoy Conference hall for two days, on Saturday and Sunday.

In 2019, for the second time, we worked together on the Wall of Hope – the most emotional Festival corner. An educated psychologist talked to couples while they were leaving their emotional messages for other couples struggling with infertility problems. Also, next to the Wall of Hope, there was a Photobooth, so free photos were provided for all the visitors. You can check how it looks like on the following video PHOTO BOOTH.
